This rubber sheath fits over the tongs to provide complete insulation. Available in black or red. Suitable for welding and electrostatic work, starter units, battery chargers, and high-load bridging cables, etc. Made of oil-resistant and non-slip nitrile rubber. Guaranteed heat resistant up to 100°C; insulator strength 2000V.

Exceptionally impact, shock and heat resistant insulating heads. Long contact surfaces for the electrode. The well-designed system avoids any need for adhesion of the electrode. The cable grip dispenses with the need to solder the welding cable into place. A small copper plate for gripping the cable is supplied with the unit.

Size 2 – 500 amp for electrodes up to 6 mm

The perfect holder for MIG/MAG welding torches. Shaped to provide an easy-to-use but secure holder. Coated in aluminium powder. Fix-mounted with screw base, or magnetic foot with retention force of 350 kg/N, with stopnut and disk, or G-clamp with 50 mm jaw width.

The secure holder for TIG/WIG welding torches. The rubber lip provides optimum protection against damage to the torch neck insulation. Made of galvanised steel. Fix mounted with screw base, or magnetic foot with retention force of 350 kg/N, with stopnut and disc, or G-clamp with 50 mm jaw width.

The essential accessory for the welder. During stationary work, our original FIX ® 250 and 500 amp electrode holders can be deposited short-circuit safe and ready to grip. Also usable with other brands. Powder-coated steel.
The holder can either be G-clamp mounted with 50 mm jaw width, fix-screw mounted or welded into place. The standard model is arranged for right-handed users, but left-handed versions are available.

Attachments are exchangeable and 100% hardened. The conical ashwood handle is comfortable to hold. Dimensions c. 300 x 190 mm. Available in blisterpack or unpacked.

Optional: Cr-Ni-St (V2A) flat or sharp attachments for sparkfree applications.

These cable lugs are made of cooper and suitable for our original FIX ® earthed tongs.
